General information only Everything here is general information about robocalls, autodialed calls and unknown callers. It is not legal, financial or professional security advice, and it creates no advisory relationship. Rules about calls and texts depend on the facts of each case and have exceptions. For your own situation, talk to a qualified professional, or contact the FTC or the FCC.
What the lookup cannot tell you The number check shows where an area code was issued, its main cities and its time zone, and flags a few patterns. It does not identify the person or business behind a number, the carrier, the line type, or whether anyone has reported the number. A result is not a statement that a call is safe or unsafe. Please do not use it to confront, track or locate anyone.
No affiliation RoboReport is independent. It is not connected to any phone carrier, phone maker, call-blocking app, law enforcement body or government agency. Names such as the FTC, FCC, Apple, Google, T-Mobile and Verizon appear only to cite sources or to describe labels you may see on your screen, and they belong to their owners.
Accuracy We check guides against primary sources and show the date of the last update, but menus, services and rules change and we can miss it. Carrier features differ, so a setting named in a guide may not exist on your plan. If you find a mistake, tell us on the contact page.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are used under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act. We run no advertising, use no analytics and set no cookies. What we do store is listed in the privacy policy. To make a request about your information, write to [email protected].
Outside links We link to outside sites as sources. We are not responsible for what they say or how they handle your data.
